Mould Development Tooling Gelcoat english



Development of a little, two-portion negative mould with the polishable, styrene resistant R&G Tooling Gelcoat blue.

Directions:
1.) Tooling Gelcoat SP Blue + Hardener TG is used by brush on to the geared up grasp sample. Gelling time 2 h.
2.) All subsequent layers are built with Epoxy resin L + Hardener EPH 161
three.) Rounding the mould´s edges (generating fillets) with a combination of epoxy resin, cotton flocks and thixotropic agent.
four.) 2 layers of Glass cloth one hundred and five g/m² and 163 g/m²
5.) Rounding edges the moment once again
6.) 2 layers of Carbon NCF triaxial 750 g/m²
7.) Backfill built of a combination of epoxy resin, purple color paste and Poraver ® 1-2 mm.
eight.) After 24h ambient curing the mould´s prime aspect is sanded flush
9.) Application of a combination of epoxy resin and Glass Bubbles .21 g/cm³ with spatula
10.) Ultimate laminate of 2 layers Carbon NCF triaxial 750 g/m²
